I’ve known Ramsey for quite some time now. I use to work across the way from his studio about five or six years back. We sarted talking one day about djing and how we had some mutual friends. He now lives in the Los Angeles area again (where he grew up) with the rest of us. Sometimes we dj together, ride bikes, critique other djs, go to art shows, critique music, talk art b.s. and watch Star Trek. In other words, he’s a good friend now. He’s just recently got his new website up and running. So if you have a few minutes, take a browse.

Jillian and I were out the other day and we stopped by A.P.C. to take a quick look around. Low and behold I spot this gem gleaming from across the room, the Metronomy - Nights Out LP. I think that they might possible be the only ones in town carrying this right now. I was able to scrape up a 12″ remix of Heartbreaker (see video below) from Amoeba, but the I could’nt find the LP. The new collection at the store looks great too. Swing by and check it out if you’re in the neighborhood.

Can we please have a all day Golden Axe marathon? I use to absolutely love this game. My brother and I were huge into video games growing up. I believe I saw this and a bunch of others on a Sega Greatest Hits combo for PS2 a while back. I think this may be a new series of posts, “Trying to Account for My Youth”.
