Jaw dropping and heart breaking. The show was fantastic. Miguel’s space (De La Barracuda) was perfect for such an occasion. So many Gardeners… The opening party was exactly what is was supposed to be. Fans of every kind came to pay respects to this soft spoken artist. Fans which included Tim Biskup, Gary Baseman, Shane Jessup, The Baroness (Kidrobot), Carlos (the Beast Brothers), Everlast, Joe Ledbetter and Jesse Hernandez. Not to mention the countless toy collectors. Jack from Vinyl Pulse did a good job covering the event which you can see here. I was even fortunate enough to help my good friend Candie (pictured above with Michael) pick out a original painting for her humble abode. Yes the Michael Lau self portrait with a Terry Richardson brain would complete anyone’s home.  My only regret was I did’nt drink all the work in like I really wanted to. Luckily I was given some great gifts courtesy of Candie, M.D. (Mindstyle), Miguel (De La Barracudda) and of course Michael. Thank you all so much.

A girl came in the store yesterday wearing a vintage Spuds baseball tee. Oakley Blades, BMX, Kathy Ireland, Lamborghini Countach, Duran Duran, Ski Comedies, Rob Roskopp and Spuds, The Original Party Animal!

The second of my two favorite aircrafts, the Apache AH 64D. I had a small model for this and if I remember correctly, it never was completed. I remember sitting in front of the tv, putting my model together while watching the nightly news featuring George the first and the impending Gulf War. It’s coming up on 20 years now and we’re still there. Good grief Charlie Brown…

So a while ago I was fortunate enough to be in a invitational Nike iD design competition. Well I got knocked out in the second round and as a consolation prize I was awarded a Nike iD appointment for a new pair of kicks. As a result my LBW Airmax 90’s are what you see above. So you may be seeing me soon at the reservoir or at the park clockin’ a couple miles in my new running sneaks. Thanks again Lena, you’re the best!
